Dr. Greg Hahn
Practice Owner, DVM
Primary Care & Surgery
Bucknell University (B.S. Biology, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) • Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine
Special Interests:
Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Ophthalmology
Dr. Hahn has never forgotten the advice he received from his Purdue University veterinary anatomy professor: dig deeply into each patient’s medical history and complete a thorough physical exam before coming to a diagnosis. This philosophy has guided his practice since day one.
Born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hahn graduated from Henderson High School in the top 5% of his class before attending Bucknell University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. His introduction to veterinary medicine came from working at his family veterinarian’s practice during high school and college—a well-seasoned diagnostician who inspired Greg’s career path.
After graduating from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Hahn worked at a large six-doctor practice before returning to Chester County. In September 1992, he established Main Line Veterinary Hospital with invaluable assistance from his wife Elizabeth, a Registered Nurse who provided many insights from her human medical career.
While Dr. Hahn enjoys a rewarding general veterinary practice, he has cultivated particular expertise in internal medicine (especially endocrinology) and ophthalmology. He thrives on challenging cases, such as regulating diabetic dogs and cats, treating Cushing’s disease, and managing chronic skin and allergy conditions.
Dr. Hahn and Elizabeth have four daughters and many grandchildren living locally. In their leisure time, they love spending time on a beach—anywhere—though their schedule rarely allows it. The Hahns currently share their home with Eloise, a maltipoo rescue, and Addie, an extremely friendly Barbet whom many clients have met at the office.

Dr. Marcie Ho-Gatto
Associate Veterinarian, CVmA
Primary Care & Integrative Medicine
University of Hawaii (B.S. Animal Science) • University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine
Special Interests:
Primary Care & Veterinary Medical Acupuncture
Dr. Marcie joined Main Line Veterinary Hospital in 2017, bringing with her a passion for integrative medicine and a warm, client-focused approach to veterinary care.
Growing up in Hawaii, Dr. Marcie received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Hawaii before obtaining her veterinary degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she traveled to several states working as a general veterinary practitioner and later as a regional medical director for a veterinary corporation.
Her true passion, however, was working directly with clients and their ‘kids,’ so she transitioned back into practice and eventually settled in Pennsylvania. Dr. Marcie has a strong interest in alternative medicine and received her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture, allowing her to offer complementary treatment options for pain management, chronic conditions, and enhanced healing.
Dr. Marcie spends her free time with her husband Nick and their two children, Malia and Michael, traveling and visiting family in Hawaii. She also enjoys selling her pottery at craft fairs and playing in the garden with her dogs, Leilani, Ella, Gigi, and Bella. She is thrilled to be part of the Main Line Veterinary Hospital family!

Dr. Lauren Trusa
Associate Veterinarian, BVetMed
Primary Care & Surgery
Chestnut Hill College (B.S. Biology & Environmental Sciences, Cum Laude) • Royal Veterinary College, London (BVetMed) • Fear Free Certified • Feline Friendly Practitioner
Special Interests:
Soft Tissue Surgery, Dentistry & Pain Management
Born and raised near Scranton, Pennsylvania, Dr. Trusa knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was six years old. She attended Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia for her undergraduate studies, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences.
In 2009, her lifelong passion became reality when she was accepted into the Veterinary Medicine program at the prestigious Royal Veterinary College in London, England. Dr. Trusa completed five rigorous years of training before successfully obtaining a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) degree—an advanced doctoral degree awarded specifically to graduates of the RVC.
After completing her studies, Dr. Trusa remained in England for 10 years, where she honed her skills as a general veterinary practitioner. She served as lead surgeon within her team and was eventually promoted to Senior Veterinarian, running a busy practice and devotedly serving her community across South Yorkshire.
In her heart, Dr. Trusa always knew she would return home to Pennsylvania. In 2024, she emigrated back to the US with her husband Rich and their calico cat Poppy, starting their next chapter in Chester County. Dr. Trusa has special interests in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and the application of alternative therapies for pain management. She is also Fear Free Certified and a Feline Friendly practitioner.
Dr. Trusa loves spending her free time relaxing with a good book and a G&T, traveling around the world with her husband, cooking for friends and family, and enjoying the performing arts. She is thrilled to be joining the team at Main Line Veterinary Hospital and can’t wait to meet all of the wonderful clients and their furry friends!
